Dear Friends,
I am writing this letter to THANK Manos Amigas for sponsoring my grandkids. This year 4 grandkids had the opportunity to graduate from high school. Luis and I are so grateful for the opportunity they had. We know this will give them a big opportunity to have a good job and when they decide they can go back to school if they want to go to college.
In addition to the four high school graduates, 2 grandkids graduated from Jr. high and are ready for high school and 2 are just going to start elementary. They were in kindergarten this year and they are the smallest grandkids. As you know, we had other grandkids graduate from high school before and 2 of our children graduated from college (Lulu and Adrian). We feel thankful for all.
I want to take the time to thank all who believed in the program of education that Manos Amigas started several years ago. It is not just Luis and I. There are many parents that fill grateful to God and Manos Amigas. They are so proud of their children and grandchildren. Thank you for taking the time to say YES I Will sponsor a kid! You are making a difference in their lives and a difference for the family too.
And I need to say THANKS ROSS for believing in Anapra families. He started the scholarship program in 1992 with 3 kids: two of mine 1 girl of Marycuca. Now it is 2026 and here we are still helping kids through school. Many generous hearts , many friendly hands making it possible.
