This spring we have been feeling the love in Anapra. As someone who supports the community in Anapra, allow us to share the love with you.
A Marriage Blessing
Estela and Luis had their marriage blessed in the church. They are advocates for their community and together their love accomplishes great things for their family, Manos Amigas and Anapra.
Mother’s Day was celebrated with young and old. Brenda with twins Cherlize and Carlitos. Our oldest abuela, 92-year-old Esperanza. Even grandmas enjoy a piñata!
Our Mother’s Day Fundraiser fell short of our goal; however, June 30 is the end of our fiscal year and it is never too late to donate. Manos Amigas is a place where your money gets put into action. The need in Anapra is year-round. Please consider giving in honor of someone you love.
Young and Old Connecting
The high school and college youth group visited Don Luis, one of the grandpas we support. They collected food to take to him and listened to him talk about his life. The connections between the youth and the elderly are heartwarming.
A New Baby
Victor, one of our former students, welcomed his first child into the world. This baby is well loved!
Grandpas were also treated with food, gifts and hugs for Father’s Day. The Manos Amigas family loves to work together to show how they care for the elderly.
We hope you enjoyed this little glimpse of spring love in Anapra! We appreciate you helping us continue to share the love.
