Pies Pequeños (Little Feet)
Pies Pequeños (Little Feet) is our newest program, starting in 2020 during the COVID-19 Pandemic. At that time, when work was inconsistent and young families felt the stress. Manos Amigas stepped in by paying for supplies such as diapers and wipes for new babies
The core team in Anapra saw value in the program and wanted to continue after COVID. Mothers hold a monthly workshop to discuss parenting issues and do activities with their children.
The Kansas City core team provides resources and materials for the monthly workshops and supplies to promote children’s health and wellness (wipes, over-the-counter medications, coats and toothbrushes).
