2018 Christmas Baskets

January 9, 2019 | 0 Comments

Each year Manos Amigas provides a Christmas food basket to families in the Anapra community. This year Anapra volunteers bagged 67 baskets!! 43 families and 24 abuelas (grandmas). It takes a lot of volunteers in Anapra to make this happen every year! One of core members in Anapra, her husband and son spend an early Saturday morning purchasing the food. 11 sponsored students and 1 mom helped divide and bag the 67 baskets. That evening all 43 families came to our mission house to pick up their baskets, and 6 volunteers delivered baskets to the 24 abuelas in the community later that night.
